In 1975 Radio Shack introduced a line of pre-etched, pre-drilled
PC project boards. Included with the boards was a well-written
assembly manual including a parts list and usually a theory of
operation of the circuit, also most boards included a silk-screened
self-stick label which could be placed on the front panel of an enclosure
for a very professional look. No components were included with these boards
as all parts were easily available and for sale at the Radio Shack store.
All needed parts were soldered on the PC board or mounted in a suitable
enclosure or cabinet. Most projects were powered by batteries or ac adapters.
Radio Shack continued selling and introducing new project boards until
the mid-1980's.
We have a very small selection of Archer Projectboards available.
All boards include the assembly manual and front panel label
(if it was originally included).
Boards DO NOT include any electronic components or parts.
All needed electronic parts should still be easily obtainable through
normal supply channels.
Any of these Projectboards would make a fine gift for a student
and could serve as a good introduction to electronics.
These are the Projectboards we have available:
Time Base Generator.
Uses common 7400 series TTL ICS and a 10 MHz. crystal.
Decaded outputs from 10 MHz. to 1 Hz. External input for
FET pre-amp stage allows unit to operate as a divider for
other signal sources. Operates from 5 VDC.
Includes construction manual and panel labels.

Stereo Amplifier.
Uses RS2277 / LM378 / ECG804 audio amplifier IC.
2 watts per channel into 8 ohms.
Includes construction instructions.
